CURRENT PATIENT ADVISORY
If you are sick (fever, coughing, sore throat, shortness of breath), please call our office at 888-561-3380 to reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer running fever or experiencing symptoms. We encourage all patients to check whether your symptoms could potentially be related to Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) here.

In addition, if you or anyone else in your household has been on a cruise or traveled to China, South Korea, Iran, Italy, Japan or any additional countries that have a Level 3 Travel Notice within the last 14 days, please contact our office to reschedule your appointment. This situation is rapidly evolving, so we urge you to regularly check the CDC website at cdc.gov for updates regarding testing sites, symptoms, prevention, protection, and social distancing tips.

Rehoboth Psychiatric Services is doing everything we can to keep our patients safe and assist those who may have symptoms of illness. At this time, with the evolving news on Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are closely monitoring the best way to serve you as well as ensuring we do our part to minimize spread of the virus.

PATIENT TREATMENT
Until further notice, in order to minimize the spread of the virus, Rehoboth Psychiatric Services will utilize telemedicine/televisits as the primary method to provide treatment to our clients. Televisits, also known as remote healthcare visits, are teleconferences typically conducted via smartphones and personal computers. They provide a safe, efficient way for patients to connect with doctors from the comfort of their homes.

If you need emergency care, please contact your nearest Mobile Crisis Response Team.  A Mobile Crisis Response Team can help people who are experiencing a situation where the person’s behavioral health needs exceed the person’s resources to effectively handle the circumstances. Teams consist of mental health professionals who can provide support to people experiencing a mental health, alcohol and drug, or intellectual and development disabilities crisis. Teams are available to the public 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Teams provide community-based crisis services in the location where the person is experiencing the crisis. Mobile Crisis Response Teams are available in all 82 counties in Mississippi. Additional information about Mobile Crisis Response Teams can be found here.

In addition, if you have an appointment scheduled in the next week, you will be receiving a call from our staff to reschedule accordingly.  As this situation continues to develop, we may be extending this timeline. In that instance, you will receive additional communication from our staff with further instruction. We promise to continue to share updates on our social media pages and website. As a patient, your well-being is our top priority, so these steps are being taken to best ensure your safety.

Thank you for your patience, we will be working with you to make sure we keep you and our community healthy. The Rehoboth Psychiatric Services will continue to provide updates as the situation evolves.
